V.I.C. Cycles Saturday Morning MTB Rides

Imagine a pleasant Saturday morning cycle…nothing too early just a nice respectable 9:30am start. You’ll be amongst recreational cyclists, including beginners and families, who enjoy friendly conversation while they ride.

Some weeks you’ll encounter hills, others will be flat and easy cycling, but every week you’re sure to enjoy the Greater Wellington surroundings. Last week the group met in the Boat Club Car Park off Onepoto Road and cycled around the coast in Titahi Bay.

Register below and Amanda Santos-Trew will put you on her mailing list with Saturday morning MTB ride details each week.

Sunday Peloton

Leaves from Thorndon (corner of Tinakori Road and Thorndon Quay) at 9am on Sundays. The Sunday Peloton is for the stronger road riders as they typically hammer it on the way home and you have to be prepared to ride at least some of it on your own. They do stop at the top of the first hill to wait for everyone.

Onslow Tarbabies

Run a regular organised ride leaving from Box Hill on Station Road on Sundays. The rides usually leave at 8am but sometimes earlier
if they have a long ride planned. Their schedule of rides can be found
here

The rides are suitable for all levels of road cyclists. For further information contact : training@onslowtarbabies.org.nz
